CH-3C, 65-5697 was delivered to the USAF 9Mar66 and was later fitted with -5 engines to upgrade it to a 3E.   It was transferred to Davis Monthan AFB in Mar '73, Luke AFB in Apr '74, Hulbert Field and finally to AMARC in Feb'90, where it was scrapped.   Sold to PA Exchange in Pratt, KS., it finally ended up in Apple Valley, CA, where Dan Morgan, and his friend Vini "Big Daddy" Bergeman put it on a school bus chassis and built it as a tribute to military veterans.  The following links show the refurbishment of 5697:
